The Northern Rockies Regional Airport is owned by the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and is operated under the direction of Northern Rockies Regional Council. Working within the adopted annual budget, airport staff are responsible for managing and overseeing all airport business & administration, in addition to overseeing all airport operations.
The Northern Rockies Regional Airport acts as the main transportation hub of the Northern Rockies and the Horn River Basin. Services are also available to the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Located only 10km South East of Fort Nelson, 4hrs North of Fort St John, and 10 hrs South of Whitehorse YT, the Northern Rockies Regional Airport is proud to service Northern British Columbia.
